Florida has many different faces and I have been here throughout many different phases of my life. Every aspect I capture on camera has meaning relative to how I experience this area.

Florida is known for its bright colors and sunny skies. My eye, however, sees the hard light and the harsh shadows, the dramatic clouds and the stormy weather.
With this series of black and white images, predominantly shot at the beach in Daytona Beach Shores, I want to show a different side of Florida.
